Our client is one of the largest Asia’s independent bank with branches in Singapore, China, United States, Canada and Britain.  

Due to the expansion in the operations department in Singapore, they are looking for a Head of Operations for Singapore to lead a team of 10-15 people.

Head of Operations

1.             Securities (Equities/Bonds)

2.             Treasury (FX/MM)                                 

Responsibilities

·         To process day-to-day BAU functions within the Singapore branch, ensuring timely and accurate processing and settlement transactions

·         End-to-end settlement processing for trades.

·         Investigation on GL Suspense and Nostro accounts' imbalances

·         Review of product documentation, control procedures, settlement and confirmation process

·         Project management involving reviewing the system used for reconciliation and working with IT to improve the system performance, automating manual routine tasks and improving the matching rate.

·         Resolving daily operational issue and handle client’s questions, review of management reports

Requisites

·         A Good Degree

·         Experience from Investment Banking or Private banking operations

·         Mandarin speaking preferred
