My Client is an Energy Resources Company engaging in commodity trading and trading related activities to join its Singapore Office.

ROLE Summary

Leading a team of 8 staff, the ‘Singapore Infrastructure Manager’ will be responsible for ensuring the smooth daily running and continued business operation of infrastructure services in the Singapore office. This includes the execution of the Energy Trading group’s global priorities. Active participation and the management of key projects & initiatives will be required from the offset, including:

·         Singapore Virtual Desktop

·         Involves the centralisation of all Singapore based services to London HQ, with the delivery of these services to the Singapore office via a virtual desktop

·         24/5 ‘follow the sun’ support model

·         Establish a global support structure for Energy systems and services. Sharing global Infrastructural responsibilities with London, Singapore and Stamford offices’ IT teams.

RESPONSIBILITIES

·         Leading a team of 8 staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth daily running and continued business operation of infrastructure services in the Singapore office

·         Ensure excellent levels of support and service delivery including management of Projects and Initiatives

·         Management of infrastructure sub-team covering Helpdesk, Engineering, Messaging/Content Management and IT administration

·         Serve as focal point for all Singapore infrastructure matters relating to:

·         Local Support (1st – 3rd line support)

·         Global Support (future 24/5 support model)

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

·         Educated to degree level (or equivalent qualifications)

·         Project Management accreditation

·         ITIL accreditation

·         Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in commodity or financial sectors

·         Previous experience working as part of a global ‘Follow the sun’ support model

·         Experience of technical design disciplines an advantage
