Our client, a newly set-up regional IT Services company in
Singapore is looking for a high caliber, aggressive, Sales Manager, selling to Banks & Financial Institutions.
Key responsibilities
· Working with an existing IT sales specialist, the candidate would be responsible primarily for sales performance and effectiveness of :-
- ultra high speed messaging technology products (Solace), exchanges and brokers in Asia Pacific, and integrated front office trading, risk management and position management system to sell-side financial institutions
- The candidate would also be expected to work with firm’s directors to enhance and execute its marketing strategy. This would include the development and maintenance of key local and regional channel partners, where appropriate, to enhance the marketing and sales coverage. Travel will be mainly limited to the Asia Pacific region.
- Sales assistance and support for company other key products might be required from time to time, including a back office settlement and clearing system.
Key requirements
· Minimum 8 years of sales experience
· Must have strong relationship and network in the financial and banking industry.
· Good understanding of IT systems and financial products traded, in the Front Office of investment banks or hedge funds, particularly the systems connecting to trading exchanges
· Good communicator in mandarin would an advantage.
