Our client, a strong holding private equity division of a renowned investment corporation is looking to bring onboard an Investment Analyst:

Key Accountabilities

·         Identify suitable private companies for investment so as to divest these investments with profits for funds:

·         Assessment and evaluation to identify suitable private companies for investments to be based on the approved procedures

·         Monitor compliance to the terms of investment agreement for loan redemption date, expiry date of options and interest payment.

·         Update and monitor progress of investee companies:

·         Conduct visit to investee companies and liaise with the management to understand and assess the progress of their business operation.

·         Obtain monthly management accounts from the investee companies.

·         Incorporating information on the progress of investee companies into quarterly management reports and half yearly shareholders’ reports.

·         Be familiar with stipulated valuation guidelines in performing revaluation/impairment test on the investee companies.

·         Support the fund managers on any documentation leading to the divestment of investee companies.

Requirements

·         Degree Holder with minimum 3 years of relevant experience in banking, investment research or private equity space

·         Sound business and financial analysis knowledge, familiarity with business law
