Our client, an esteemed investment company, gearing to expand their private equity arm, and is looking to bring onboard a Legal Counsel

Key Accountabilities

·         Assess, evaluate and provide advice on the legal documentation/ deal structure from the legal perspective /regulatory compliance of suitable private companies for investments in accordance to legal standards

·         Participating in the due-diligence process, reviewing investment agreement terms and other ancillary documents

·         Assist the investment team in the coordination and management of divestments, including recovery of distressed investments.

·         Support the investment team on legal matters relating to existing investments.

Requirements

·         Degree Holder, qualified lawyer

·         Minimum 3 years experience in consulting, banking, corporate law, or private equity

·         Possess initiative and work independently with minimal supervision

·         Good communication skills to interact with the Management level of investee companies

·         Be able to travel overseas on short notice.
